Counselor's Corner... Hope is believing something good can come out of something bad. Children usually understand hope from the perspective of wishing. They hope for the latest, greatest, toy or to go on a fun vacation. Hope is more than just wishing for a better day. Children need to understand that something good can come out of something bad. Hope adds encouragement to our lives. We will certainly fail sometimes, but hope helps build a bridge from discouragement to satisfaction. I challenge all of us to hope for the best in all situations. Let’s believe that something good can truly come out of something bad.
